After months of speculation about the state of the sports-talk radio world, post-Mike & Mike, ESPN Radio announced it will launch its new morning drive show, Golic & Wingo, hosted by current Mike & Mike host Mike Golic and longtime ESPN personality Trey Wingo, on Monday, Nov. 27. Mike & Mike will conclude its nearly 18-year run on November 17. As was previously announced, current co-host Mike Greenberg is leaving the show to host a new morning show on ESPN, starting Jan. 1, 2018.
Fans are getting a free preview of Golic & Wingo this week as Golic and Wingo guest-host Mike & Mike through tomorrow, while Mike Greenberg is guest-hosting The Michael Kay Show from 3-7pm alongside Don La Greca on WEPN (ESPN New York 98.7)/New York.
Golic’s son, Mike Golic, Jr. will join Golic & Wingo from 6-7am daily and will continue to host ESPN Radio’s First & Last from 4-6am every weekday. Golic & Wingo will air from 6-10am ET on ESPN Radio and will initially be simulcast on ESPN2 before moving in early January to its simulcast home on ESPNU. The show will also be available via ESPNRadio.com, the ESPN app, SiriusXM Channel 80, Apple Music, TuneIn and Slacker Radio. A daily podcast will also post on ESPNRadio.com and will be accessible through the ESPN app.
