Earn Your Master’s Degree in ProgrammingJacobs Media Strategies is looking for a collaborative programmer to support its Radio Consulting Team. This position is ideal for an up-and-coming PD or APD who has some real-world experience and is looking to expand his or her skillset in multiple areas like strategy, research, positioning, branding, marketing and more. Our clients span the rock spectrum from Classic to Active to Alternative, so the more comfortable you are across all shades of the spectrum, the better.

The ideal candidate has experience in music scheduling (preferably on multiple platforms), enjoys compiling and analyzing data, and is proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. You must be detail-oriented, a problem solver, able to juggle multiple projects and deliver results on tight deadlines. A college degree is preferred. • Look for the official announcement at any moment, but RAMP has learned that, after an eight-year absence, Steve Pleshe is returning from whence he came — the PD chair at Cumulus Country KSKS (93.7 Kiss Country)/Fresno, effective next week. Pleshe, who still lives in Fresno, programmed Kiss until 2009, when he made the move over to the label side, working at RCA, Streamsound, and most recently, Black River Entertainment as Director of West Coast Promotion. Pleshe returns to Kiss next week and succeeds Darrin Arriens, who was recently named Director of Operations for Entercom Charlotte.
