Straight To The Hart Of Reno
• “Big Chris” Hart has been named as the new PD of Cumulus Classic Hip Hop KNEV (95.5 The Vibe)/Reno, NV. A 15-year Reno radio vet, Hart (pictured) was most recently PD/afternoon personality for Evans Broadcasting Country KWFP (92.1 The Wolf), preceded by decade across the street at Lotus Sports-Talk KUUB (ESPN 94.5).
In making the announcement, Jennifer Odom, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Media Reno, said, “I’m excited to have Chris join our team in Reno. Chris brings years of experience and a winning attitude, which bodes well with our FORCE values here at Cumulus.”
Hart commented, “This is one of those opportunities that you dream about in this business. I’ve competed against and known the Cumulus team in Reno for 17 years now. Now, it’s my distinct pleasure to be joining the best team around and do some great, fun, plain ole’ kick butt radio with Cumulus, KNEV and the good people of the greatest market in the universe — RENO!” Hart succeeds Ron James, who left in August.
