The Promise Of A Night Out

RAMP was out and about again recently, this time to experience firsthand the attraction of Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, which has gained a huge following thanks to performances at Bonnaroo, Red Rocks and the Austin City Limits Festival, to name a few. This time, within the intimate setting of the beautifully appointed Sayers Club in Hollywood, the band delivered on their promise and gave a packed L.A. industry showcase something real to enjoy last Wednesday night as they performed songs (including the single, “Find Yourself”) from their self-titled album, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, which is due out on August 25 on Fantasy/Concord Music Group.

The showcase proved Rolling Stone correct in its assessment, when they said, “Lukas Nelson’s live show is a thing to behold, full of frenetic energy and the singer-guitarist’s infectious charisma.” More info and tour dates can be found at promiseofthereal.com.
