RAMP Leap Of The Week™
• Hubbard Radio Country WIL (New Country 92.3)/St. Louis, which was recently crowned “CMA Major Market Station Of The Year” keeps the momentum flowing with the announcement of a new afternoon drive show — “Stacey K” Boyer and Jonah Griss-Bush, who have spent the past six years hosting mornings on Amaturo Sonoma Media Group Top 40 KHTH (Hot 101.7)/Santa Rosa, CA are now bracing for the whiplash-inducing leap upward to St. Louis (Market 23), debuting in January 2018. Stacey K is a Santa Rosa native who is also PD of Hot 101.7, while her on-air partner, Jonah began his radio career in New York City.
New Country 92.3 PD Scott Roddy says, “Hubbard is the platinum standard for live and local talent. While most radio companies are reducing local talent, Hubbard is adding diversity and experience to our stable of show hosts. Stacey and Jonah’s charm, wit and humor make them the perfect companion while sitting in traffic on Hwy. 40 during the drive home!”
Commenting on their upcoming move to the Gateway City, Stacey and Jonah said, “A huge thank you to Hubbard Radio’s Ginny Morris, Drew Horowitz and Greg Strassell, as well as Hubbard St. Louis VP/Market Manager John Kijoswski and PD Scott Roddy for making this dream job possible. It’s an honor to join a company that believes in people and talent, not to mention we can now wake up after the sun rises!”
New Country 92.3 works with noted talent coach Steve Reynolds, who remarked, “Great brands evolve. And the next evolution for New Country 92.3 is to bring people home from work with a little fun. Stacey and Jonah are fresh, real, different and entertaining and will help STL afternoon listeners get from work to home with a great laugh!” Stacey and Jonah will succeed Bo Matthews, who will move into middays and take on the added role of “Chief Brand Ambassador” of New Country 92.3.
