Mason Takes Nights @ KNUC/Seattle
• Hubbard Radio Country KNUC (Country 98.9)/Seattle continues to build out its new airstaff, welcoming market vet Michael Kraig Mason into the family as the station’s new evening personality. PD Lisa Adams said, “Michael is a Pacific Northwest native that is incredibly creative, unique with high energy! Seattle nights are in for something very special!”
Mason (left) got his radio start at KKRZ (Z100)/Portland, OR and he later did afternoons for five years on the former KFNK (104.9 The Monkey)/Seattle. He most recently handled production and video for the Premiere-syndicated Delilah. Mason exclaimed, “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be back on the air in my hometown! Thanks to Lisa Adams, Marc Kaye, Greg Strassell and Kraig Kitchin for believing in me and making this happen! I’ve never been more excited in my life!” Mason can be congratulated at mikemason0101@gmail.com.
• Mason becomes the latest fulltime on-air addition to Country 98.9, which launched in December. Last month the station announced the hire of morning team Tim Leary Karen “Red” Daiss and Claire Beverly from Alpha Media Country WUBB (Bob 106.9)/Savannah, GA.
