B96/Chicago Launches ‘DreX & Nina’
• Entercom Chicago makes it official and announces the launch of the DreX & Nina morning show on B96/Chicago. DreX (right) famously did mornings on iHeartMedia Top 40 rival WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM) from 2002 until December 2010. He previously worked at KTFM/San Antonio and WHYT/Detroit. Nina Hajian (center) most recently co-hosted the morning show with Edgar “Shoboy” Sotelo on former CBS Radio Top 40 WBMP (92.3 AMP Radio)/New York until the CBS/Entercom merger last November, and the station flipped to ALT 92.3. Before landing in NYC in January of 2015 Hajian was morning co-host on CBS Radio sister KZZO (NOW 100.5)/Sacramento. Joining DreX & Nina in their new morning adventure is talented sidekick/co-host/producer Gabe Ramirez (left), a holdover from the previous morning program, The J Show— J Niice and Showbiz Shelly exited last week.
