Jayde Working For The Weekend
• Westwood One announced the upcoming debut of Jayde, a new three-hour syndicated Saturday radio show starring Jayde Donovan, co-host of Todd & Jayde in the Morning on Cumulus Hot AC WPLJ/New York. Donovan is also a television veteran and the syndicated red carpet host for Westwood One’s signature entertainment events.
“Jayde is a dynamic, fierce, and authentic storyteller — and as a parent, she’s relatable to women everywhere trying to manage and balance life’s demands,” said Suzanne Grimes, EVP of Corporate Marketing for Cumulus Media and President of Westwood One. “Our goal with this new show is to empower and embolden women to feel good and be confident in who they are. Jayde is the perfect personality to deliver this important message.”
Donovan said, “I grew up feeling inspired by strong women; I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for them. I continue to admire women who step up, create and force change. I feel very strongly about bringing to light the misconceptions of what it means to ‘have it all together.’ Women put too much pressure on themselves, and that’s what I am here for — to keep it real. My goal with this platform is to reach people from all walks of life, encourage them to be their best self, and remind them to have fun on this journey no matter what life throws at you. I can’t wait to get started!”
