Reed Elevated At CMG/Tulsa
• Cox Media Group (CMG) has named Nathan Reed Director of Marketing and Radio Operations for the Tulsa market. In his newly enhanced role, Reed will lead radio operations and promotions, as well as TV creative services and research for CMG’s Tulsa brands — Classic Rock KJSR (103.3 The Eagle), Country KWEN (K95.5), News-Talk KRMG-AM/FM, Active Rock 105.7 The Bone (KWEN-HD2) and FOX 23 News, My 41 Tulsa and MeTV.
In making the announcement, Cathy Gunther, CMG Tulsa Market Vice President said, “Our integrated market strategy allows us to look at our business differently, leverage our assets and create new positions based on the evolving needs of our company. I’m excited to have Nathan lead teams across our platforms and evolve how we operate and serve our audiences.”
Reed, a 22-year radio pro, joined CMG Tulsa in 2016 as Director of Branding and Programming for KRAV, and in February of this year, was promoted to Radio Operations Manager for CMG Tulsa. “CMG Tulsa is positioned to better serve our community, listeners, viewers and clients through the strength of our collective resources,” Reed said. “I’m honored to lead our talented team of professionals as we collaborate to deliver timely, compelling and engaging content through all of our channels.”
