Pitt Ready To Ride The Bull
• Mid-West Family Broadcasting Country WRTB (95.3 The Bull)/Rockford, IL welcomes Joseph “JP” Pitt aboard as MD/night jock. Pitt was most recently APD/afternoon talent at Cumulus Country WPKR (NASH FM 99.5)/Appleton-Oshkosh until last month.
Steve Summers, PD of The Bull, commented, “We’re excited to add someone with Joe’s energy, talent, and passion for being local on our team!” No less excited about this new arrangement is Pitt, who exclaimed, “I’m proud to be joining a group of radio professionals that has such a sterling reputation. As I talked to others in the industry about joining Mid-West Family and working with Steve Summers, they told me to take that position… or they would take it themselves!”
The Bull MD stripes had been worn by former morning co-host Travis Winchester, who recently relocated to La Crosse, WI to be closer to family. Pitt is now in the house at The Bull and can be reached at joe@953thebull.com.
