• The Maney, Roy and LauRen Morning Show on Beasley Top 40 WNKS (Kiss 95.1)/Charlotte is making final preparations for its 7th Annual “Play Anything Day” marathon to benefit the Levine Children’s Hospital. The annual charity broadcast will take place this Wednesday, May 23 from 6-10am.

During this action-packed four-hour period, the show will play everything from Adele and the Jackson 5 to college fight anthems and funk songs in random order. No musical genres or decades are off limits. Listeners will be encouraged to call 877-335-5437, text “KissKids” to 51551 or visit kiss951.com to make their out=of-the-box requests and pledge their donations.

“This is our favorite time of the year when we get to throw the format out the window,” said Maney. “We play any song our listeners want to hear for a donation to the Kiss Kids.” Roy added, “We also look forward to celebrating the caregivers, families and patients at this tremendous facility in our community that helps our children every day.”

Last year, the Maney, Roy and LauRen Show raised over $103,600 for Levine Children’s Hospital during the Secret Santa Campaign. “Play Anything Day” will kick off the goal of generating even more money toward the show’s overall 2018 goal. In addition to the marathon broadcast, Peculiar Rabbit, a.k.a. “a local restaurant” will host a special “Play Anything Day Happy Hour” from 6pm-8pm, with a portion of the food proceeds going to benefit Levine Children’s Hospital.
