Mat Bates Exits KFOG/San Francisco
• RAMP has confirmed the departure of Mat Bates as PD of Cumulus Triple A KFOG/San Francisco after less than a year. No replacement has been named as of yet. Bates was named to the post in August 2017, succeeding Bryan Schock.
Bates was previously Head of Programming, Rock Formats at Pandora, Global Head of Music and Curation at Rdio and Sr. Manager of Radio Programming at Slacker Radio. Prior to that, Bates spent a decade in broadcast radio at 91X/San Diego, KXTE (X107.5)/Las Vegas, KQXR/Boise, ID, and KRZQ/Reno.
