Americana Chart Goes To 50
• After the initial January launch of the Americana Radio Albums and Singles charts, powered by CDX TRACtion, the Americana Music Association® has now implemented a Top 50 format for both charts.
The biggest hits at radio in all genres often stay at the top of the charts. With the implementation of the Top 50 format rather than the industry standard of 40 entries, the association is offering the opportunity for developing artists to achieve greater exposure on the charts. At the time of this release, there are currently 82 radio reporters whose monitored spins contribute to both charts.
Tying into this announcement, the Americana Music Association® is offering a special radio rate to all radio stations that want to attend AmericanaFest®, happening September 11-16 in Nashville. In addition to having the opportunity to see over 250 artists performing at 50 renowned venues in Nashville, radio stations will be able to participate in gathering artist content at a state-of-the-art recording studio as well as check out music industry panels and special events.
