• Nashville-based non-profit Music Health Alliance is seeking a Director of Advocacy, Group & Individual Insurance. This person will help clients with their health care needs by following a solution model, patient-centered plan that best protects them and/or assist in negotiating the reduction of medical bills and the completion of grant applications to pay for household and medical bills during a health crisis or recovery period. This individual must be solution-oriented, be able to think outside the status quo, have a positive worldview, is honest, respectful and have a deep sense of compassion.
You must also be team player who is capable of working independently and completing work on a timely basis. Candidate must also be sensitive to highly confidential issues and trustworthy. This position requires being very detail and solution-oriented, as well as versatile and open minded on learning new processes. Knowledge of the music industry and/or health insurance is a plus.
A minimum of 10 years of music industry experience or 10 years of business experience in finance, sociology, or a health-related field is required. Health Insurance License is a plus (Music Health Alliance will train for certification upon hiring).
