Hall New Digital PD of iHeart SF
• Doug Hall has been named Digital Program Director of iHeartMedia San Francisco, effective July 9. Hall transfers to the Bay Area from a similar position with iHeartMedia Miami and replaces Matty Staudt, who was recently elevated to Vice President of Podcast Programming at iHeartMedia.
As Digital PD, Hall will oversee digital strategy for iHeartMedia’s six San Francisco radio brands. The San Francisco market has also been an innovator in podcast content creation, generating 30 podcasts locally with nearly 100 episodes each week published. Hall will report to Don Parker, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia San Francisco, who commented, “After an extensive search inside and outside of the industry, Doug stood out as the clear choice to lead our digital and social efforts in the Bay Area. With Doug’s knowledge of our goals and priorities along with his sense of urgency and enthusiasm, I’m confident he will grow iHeartMedia San Francisco.”
Hall previously served as a member of the digital team for iHeartMedia Los Angeles. He began his career at KIIS-FM/Los Angeles in 2006 and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. “I’m thrilled to come back to California and continue my career with iHeartMedia San Francisco,” said Hall. “iHeartMedia San Francisco is a top market with an amazing team and I look forward to contributing to the ongoing success.” iHeartMedia Miami has now begun a nationwide search to replace Hall.
