Pros On The Loose
• Longtime New England programmer/personality and engineering ace Mark Ericson is on the beach — yes, Hampton Beach — after nearly 22 years with Townsquare Media Country WOKQ/Portsmouth-Dover-Rochester, NH.
You may recall that Ericson (left) ably served as WOKQ’s on-air Operations Manager for 19 years until Townsquare re-purposed him into a regional technical manager position to care for their clusters in New Hampshire and Portland and Augusta, Maine, as well as two transmitter sites atop Mt. Washington. That role continued until May, when the position was eliminated.
Ericson is now looking to get back into programming/on-air/operations and put his many years of valuable experience to good use for [your company logo here]. His preference would be to stay in the New England area. “I’ve still got plenty of gas left in the tank,” says Ericson, who can be reached at 603-343-2938 and/or ericsound@aol.com.
