Elvis & Alex Are Engaged!

• The RAMP family would like to take this opportunity to sincerely wish a lifetime of love and happiness to Premiere-syndicated superstar Elvis Duran, who is now officially engaged!

Alex Carr, Duran’s boyfriend of almost eight years, and a Zookeeper at the Staten Island Zoo creatively popped the question last Friday, July 13 in Santa Fe, NM, writing his proposal on the outside of an umbrella. Carr posted the photo on his Instagram page on Saturday, along with this note, which read, “Yesterday was Friday the 13th. People believe that the day brings bad luck, but I totally disagree. I was born on Friday, June 13th. I’ve always considered myself to be lucky and blessed, as I was when Elvis came into my life almost 8 years ago… first as my boyfriend and now fiancé!! They say opening umbrellas in the house brings bad luck, but this time I don’t believe it. I love you Elvis Duran!”
