Trio Of Orlando Promotions
iHeartMedia Orlando yesterday celebrated the promotion of three of its programmers — Brian Mack (left), PD of Top 40 WXXL (XL106.7) will annex bonus PD responsibilities for AC WMGF (Magic 107.7). He will also take on the newly created role of Vice President of Branding for iHeartMedia Orlando, overseeing the marketing strategy for the nine-station group.
Jack Bradshaw, PD of FM Talk WTKS (Real Radio 104.1) assumes added PD duties for Sports-Talk WYGM (96.9 The Game), and Dwight “D-Strong” Ricketts is upped from APD to the PD chair at Urban 104.5 The Beat. He will continue to do afternoon drive on The Beat.
Now, let us clarify the reasoning behind these upgrades: Chris Kampmeier, who recently retired as Regional VP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s North Florida Region was also the PD of Magic 107.7; Brian Mack was also programming The Beat and Rick Everett was PD of The Game prior to his recent promotion to Kampmeier’s former position as RVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s North Florida Region. Everett commented, “I’m proud to work side by side with such a smart and dedicated group of programmers in Orlando. They are highly respected by our teams and the industry, and I can’t wait to see how they embrace their additional programming roles.”
