The Wolf Drives Differently
• Entercom Country WLFP (94.1 The Wolf)/Memphis performed several significant drivetime changes, starting in morning drive, where Melissa “Mo” Wagner and Styckman (left) are now driving Memphis to work via the magic of voice-tracking from sister WUSY (US101)/Chattanooga, TN, where they regularly do afternoons. At the same time, Marty Brooks (right), who had been doing mornings on The Wolf for the past four years, has moved to afternoons replacing a man known simply as “Wingnut,” who had been tracking the shift from the comfort of sister KKWF (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle.
RAMP reached out to Chris Michaels, Director of Branding & Music Programming for The Wolf, WMC-FM (FM100) and WRVR (104.5 The River), who explained the whole thing for us, commenting, “I’m very excited about Mo & Styckman waking up the Mid-South on Memphis’ New Country, 94.1 The Wolf. They are very relatable and entertaining.” Michaels says Mo & Styckman will remain based in Chattanooga, but are doing a custom show for WLFP each morning, and will make several market visits throughout the year.
“I’m also excited for Marty’s move to afternoons,” Michaels said. “Marty had been hosting mornings on WLFP since 2014, and has built a great foundation that he now gets to show off and entertain Memphians every afternoon on the way home.” Here is the newly revised Wolf weekly on-air line-up: 6-10am — Mo & Styckman; 10am-2pm — Cindy D.; 2-7pm — Marty Brooks; 7pm-midnight — Kelley Bradshaw.
