McGlamery: Big Man On Campus
• Back in July we told you all about the Studios at Fischer Campus, a state-of-the-art creative destination in the Texas Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio that houses Lucky Hound Records, 484 Management and the Studios at Fischer. The facility, housed on a nine-acre spread, contains a world class analog master studio, cutting-edge digital studio of Firefly Sound, and Dragonfly Media Studios — a complete film and photography studio with a live sound stage, 4K streaming capabilities and a fully capable green room, makeup and wardrobe areas.
This week it was announced that longtime industry pro Raymond McGlamery is the newly named General Manager of the Campus and will oversee Lucky Hound Records, 484 Management and the Studios at Fischer. McGlamery famously served as a VP at Warner/Reprise, Chief Strategy Officer at a number of tech start-ups, and stints as an artist manager, concert promoter and a Ticketmaster executive. “This facility was built from scratch as a recording and soundstage studio, not a renovated warehouse or home. It is literally built into the side of a Texas Hill Country limestone hill which gives control and seclusion,” explains McGlamery. “You won’t find a more ideal environment for the creative process.”
Fischer Campus offers serenity, seclusion and top-quality engineering as an ideal creative environment, hidden away from the world but a short drive to both San Antonio and Austin. Take a tour of the amazing Campus.
