Dain Craig Returns To Radio
• After a satisfying three-year run as Managing Director, Media Partners with Children’s Miracle Network, Salt Lake City broadcast pro Dain Craig makes his return to the day-to-day business of radio as the newly named Station Manager of BYU Radio, the Talk station run by Brigham Young University.
In a Friday Facebook post, Craig said, “Today I said goodbye to the most amazing group of people I have ever had the pleasure to work/serve with. Today was my last day at The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The miracles, stories, superhero kids, families and selfless coworkers have been a truly life-changing experience. The media teams that I have worked with across the nation are all superstars and absolute pros! I am completely humbled by this experience. The power of media, specifically local radio is unstoppable.”
Commenting on his new gig, Craig said, “I will be the Station Manager for BYU radio. Great talent, cool new broadcast ideas and pristine facility to create original content for national audiences. ‘Talk About Good’… here we go!”
Prior to joining Children’s Miracle Network in October 2015, Craig spent 3+ years with Cumulus Media Salt Lake City as OM of the cluster and PD/morning co-host of AC KBEE (B98.7) — the same station where he started his radio career back in the day. He later went on to program KISN and spent 11 1/2 years at Bonneville AC KSFI (FM100)/SLC, as well as 4 1/2 years as PD/morning personality at Cox ’80s KHPT (106.9 The Point)/Houston until Oct. 2010.
