Duel PD Stripes For Canton’s Davidson
• Scott Davidson has been upped to Program Director of Adult Hits WHOF (My 101.7) and 99.7 Canton’s New Country (WHOF-HD2)/Canton, OH. He will continue to anchor mornings on My 101.7.
Davidson reports to Keith Kennedy, Area SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia North Ohio, who commented, “Scott is a proud leader in our community and will continue to keep both 101.7 and 99.7 uniquely Canton. His experience and vast market knowledge make him the perfect candidate and we know he will help contribute to our stations ongoing success.”
Davidson’s extensive radio career includes prior on-air stops at WHYI (Y100)/Miami, WMBX/West Palm Beach and WKDD/Akron, OH. He was also MD at Hot 95.9/Canton. Davidson said, “Stark County is my home and I’m proud to have the opportunity to better our community with two incredible brands that serve Canton like no other. The entire iHeartMedia Akron/Canton team has been wonderful and very supportive and I can’t wait to dive right in.” Davidson succeeds former WHOF PD Scott Glaser, who recently exited.
