Wilco’s dBpm Signs With ADA
• ADA Worldwide announces an exclusive partnership with dBpm Records, a full-service record label founded in 2011 by the band Wilco. ADA Worldwide will globally support the label across sales, distribution and retail marketing efforts for all upcoming releases, including Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy‘s first all-original solo album, WARM, which was just released. Headquartered in Chicago, the label has released all of Wilco’s albums since The Whole Love in 2011 as well as Tweedy’s Sukierae and covers album, Together At Last.
“We are thrilled to welcome dBpm Records to the ADA family,” says Eliah Seton, President of ADA Worldwide. “It’s a privilege to contribute in any way to their iconic musical careers and to provide Jeff and Wilco access to global distribution and label services as they take this next step.” Kenny Weagly, ADA’s President of A&R/Label Services, added, “We couldn’t be happier to continue working with Jeff Tweedy and Wilco as part of our new relationship with dBpm Records. The band has a long history with Warner Music Group, and a direct relationship with ADA via their own label seems like the perfect next move.”
Tweedy remarked, “Wilco and dBpm are looking forward to continuing our relationship with WMG. It’s always nice when you get to keep working with familiar faces.”
In anticipation of his new album, Tweedy released the song, “I Know What It’s Like,” and companion video. Tweedy also announced a solo tour for early 2019 and he released his first book via Penguin Random House (Dutton), Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back), a memoir of his life and career.
