Cat Thomas Named OM of Entercom St. Louis
Thomas was most recently VP of Contemporary Formats for Cumulus Media. He brings over three decades of experience to his new gig, most notably a successful 28-year career with CBS Radio Las Vegas — 20 of those years as PD of KLUC. In late April of 2015 Thomas was promoted to VP of Programming for the six-station cluster. Thomas got his first radio break while attending Ohio State University in his hometown of Columbus, OH — he interned on the Norman In The Morningshow on WCOL-AMand did traffic reports on WNCI. His first “real” radio gig was as Promotions & Research Director at the former WHLY (Y106)/Orlando — now WXXL (XL106.7).
“I can’t tell you how energized I am to be joining the passionate team at Entercom,” said Thomas. “I’m looking forward to working with [Entercom President of Programming] Pat Paxton again, Becky and the entire St. Louis operation. The dedication and positive culture the staff exudes is truly amazing. We are all playing to win and I cannot wait to be a part of the great things to come.”
