Pros In Motion: Tecate, Varicalli
• American General Media Hot AC KKRG (Mix 105.1)/Albuquerque welcomes veteran programmer/personality Tony Tecate aboard for afternoons. The move reunites Mix 105.1 PD Randy Fox and Tecate (left), both longtime veterans of KSFM/Sacramento — Fox spent 16 years with CBS Radio Sacramento and programmed KSFM until most of the staff exited in April 2018. He joined AGM Albuquerque in July 2018. Tecate famously did three tours of duty with KSFM and was APD/MD and morning personality there until April 2018. He has also worked in Honolulu, Boise, ID, Fresno, Bakersfield and Los Angeles.
Fox, who also programs Rhythmic sister KKSS (Kiss 97.3), commented, “Tony Tecate, with his extensive experience and diverse background is a great match and a terrific addition to our team.”
