Jordan Named MD @ Go96.3/Minneapolis
• The smell of freshly baked store-bought cupcakes permeates the hallways of GO Media Alternative KQGO (Go 96.3)/Minneapolis as we get word of a key promotion in the Go 96.3 programming department — evening entertainer Jordan Alamat has been upped to Music Director.
In a staff memo, PD Christy Taylor remarked, “Jordan has been a key member of Go 96.3’s programming since before I returned (in June 2018). His knowledge of music as a fan, and a musician, gives him a passion I’ve rarely seen in a Music Director. With great pride GO Radio is happy to announce that Jordan Alamat has been officially elevated to Music Director of Go 96.3. Along with his Music Director duties he will continue to host the most interactive night show in the Cities.”
Alamat has been with Go 96.3 since May 2016. Before that he was the Asst. Producer of Dave Ryan In The Morning across the street on iHeartMedia Top 40 KDWB. The Go 96.3 MD position has been officially vacant since last May when Miles Anzaldo was named MD at the World Famous KROQ/Los Angeles.
