Promotion Party At BIG 95.5/Chicago
• iHeartMedia Country WEBG (BIG 95.5)/Chicago made two big announcements today — 1) Afternoon personality Brooke Taylor has been awarded Assistant Program Director stripes, and 2) Trace Hamilton has been elevated from part-time/fill-in to full-time evening entertainer, weeknights from 7pm-1am.
Taylor and Hamilton both report to BIG 95.5 PD Lance Houston, who said of Taylor, “During my first eight months on the job in Chicago, it became more and more clear that Brooke’s passion for both BIG 95.5 and iHeartCountry brands made her the obvious choice for this role. Brooke’s drive, creativity and leadership will help us take our station to new heights in 2019.”
Prior to joining BIG 95.5 in 2016, Taylor (left) was APD and midday personality at Adams Radio Country WBTU (US93.3)/Fort Wayne, IN. Before that she did nights at Radio Disney in Los Angeles, preceded by an earlier two-year run at WBTU and sister WJFX (Hot 107.9).
Hamilton (right) most recently worked as a fill-in host for BIG 95.5 and is known for his popular “Trace in the Truck” segments. Houston said, “Trace has grown into a natural, compelling on-air talent and we are thrilled to be able to round out our weekday lineup on BIG 95.5 with one of the hardest working people that I have ever met in the radio business.”
Matt Scarano, Region President of iHeartMedia Chicago commented, “Brooke and Trace are both top-notch on-air personalities, and I’m excited about their promotions and the new opportunities ahead for the BIG 95.5 brand.”
