Cape Cod’s Koffee Welcomes Constant
• CodComm Soft AC WKFY (Koffee FM)/Cape Cod, MA is excited to announce the acquisition of veteran Boston air talent Audrey Constant to afternoons on “Classic Cape Style Koffee FM.” Constant notably spent 18 years at WMJX (Magic 106.7)/Boston back in the day, and recently became available after leaving AC WPLM (Easy 99.1)/Plymouth, MA.
Steve McVie, Koffee VP/Station Manager, remarked, “This was the easiest decision I’ve ever had in my career. Imagine having Tom Brady-caliber talent become available in your market and fitting your station like a glove? What would you do?
Constant commented, “I was fortunate to work in Boston at a young age, under the direction of radio giants Don Kelley and Candy O’Terry for many years. Now, I’m beyond thrilled to work for the illustrious John Garabedian and his staff of elite broadcasters at CodComm. Steve McVie and the distinguished staff of Koffee FM have extended a warm welcome to me, for which I am forever grateful. Cape Cod has been my second home since day one and the happiest moments of my life have taken place here; and now I can add working at Koffee FM to that list.” Constant replaces Rob Walker, who will now focus all of his bad-ass post-hitting energy on his afternoon drive shift across the hall on Classic Hits sibling WFRQ (93.5 & 93.9 Frank-FM).
Please note: Koffee-FM can be heard on 98.7 FM from its main transmitter in Chatham, MA, along with its two companion “blowtorch” translators — W263CU at 100.5 in Barnstable and W300BE at 107.9 covering Falmouth and Martha’s Vineyard. You’re welcome!
