Connolly Named OM Of Cumulus Youngstown
• Cumulus Media has appointed veteran programmer Charley Connolly as Operations Manager of the company’s eight-station complex in Youngstown, OH, and Program Director of Country WQXK (K105). The appointment is effective Tuesday, April 16.
Connolly is certainly no stranger to the ways of the great state of Ohio, having most recently spent nine years in Cleveland as PD of iHeartMedia Country WGAR and Adult Hits WHLK (106.5 The Lake) until February. Earlier programming stops include Country WSM-FM & News-Talk WWTM-FM/Nashville and KVIL/Dallas, to name a few.
Bill Kelly, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Youngstown, said, “We are fortunate to have someone of Charley’s background, especially with Country, available to us in Ytown.
