Star 94.1/Atlanta Reveals New Line-Up

• On the heels of last week’s unscheduled departure of morning co-host Jeff Dauler and afternoon personality Mike Marino, Entercom Hot AC WSTR (Star 94.1)/Atlanta finally made it official and formally announced all of the personnel changes that were initially revealed last week in RAMP and in Rodney Ho‘s column in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution — your broadcast day now kicks off with Jenn & Friends, anchored by existing morning host Jenn Hobby, who is joined by her new “Friends” — Mark Owens and Curtis Slade. Owens spent the last six years as a producer at sister station WZGC (92.9 The Game), while Slade began his career as an interior design consultant and went on to host a weekly segment on iHeartMedia Top 40 WWXM (Mix 97.7)/Myrtle Beach, SC. Jenn & Friends is produced by Jeannine Riley.

In addition to contributing to Jenn & Friends, Amanda Kelly has been promoted to full-time midday host, succeeding Heather Branch, who pre-arranged her exit in February and left last Friday on her 10th anniversary with the station.

And, as we reported last week, joining Star 94.1 as APD and afternoon personality is major market vet Mike Kannon (WBTS/Atlanta, Open House Party, KVIL and KDMX/Dallas, WRDW/Philadelphia, etc.). Andy McDermott continues to host Andy@Night from 6-10pm, followed by The Ron Show from 10pm-2am, hosted by Star 94.1 PD Ron Roberts.
