Forsyth Named EVP @ Warner Chappell
• Hank Forsyth has joined Warner Chappell Music (WCM) as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. In this new role, Forsyth will develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive results for the publisher’s growing roster of songwriters and its iconic catalog.
Forsyth will be based in New York and report to WCM Co-Chair & CEO Guy Moot and Co-Chair and COO Carianne Marshall. In a joint statement, Moot & Marshall said, “Hank comes to Warner Chappell with deep experience across the publishing, label, and biz dev spaces. He’s a passionate music fan and an outstanding strategic thinker whose diverse knowledge and business savvy will be invaluable as we bring the inspirational work of our songwriters to multiple platforms across the globe with integrity and ingenuity. We’ve embarked on an exciting new era in Warner Chappell history, and we’re very happy to welcome Hank into the fold.”
Forsyth was most recently COO & CFO of Blackbird Production Partners, where he will remain an advisor. Prior to Blackbird, Forsyth was SVP/GM of Blue Note Records, playing a central role in revitalizing the legendary label in partnership with its President, Don Was.
