Moser New Leader Of Korn Country
• Nice to see Indianapolis radio vet Fritz Moser back in action as the newly named PD and afternoon personality on Reising Radio Partners’ Country WYGB (Korn Country 100.3) in Franklin, IN, about 25 miles south of downtown Indianapolis.
Moser famously spent nine years at Emmis Country WLHK (97.1 Hank FM)/Indianapolis, hired in October 2009 and upped to PD in March 2014. He left the company last September.
Moser’s extensive history in the Indianapolis market also includes a decade in various roles within the Susquehanna/Cumulus cluster, preceded by three years as APD/MD at WZPL, and two years as Programming Asst./air talent at WFMS.
The new gig marks a reunion of Moser and Reising — before joining Hank FM Moser spent 18 months as a consultant to Reising Radio Partners. RAMP caught up with an understandably excited Moser, who said, “I am beyond thrilled to be back in the game. And to be working close to home is great. Who wouldn’t enjoy the opportunity to work with a growing team that focuses on its local audience?”
