Country Mornings In Rochester

• There’s been a disturbance in the morning force at Entercom Country WBEE/Rochester, NY, as Steve Hausmann (right), the longtime co-host of the Bee Morning Coffee Club announced he was hanging up his headphones and retiring on August 30, closing the book on a stellar 50-year radio career, the last 18 with WBEE.

Needless to say, OM Bob Barnett now has some large shoes to fill, and he is actively seeking a successor to team up with co-hosts Jeremy Newman and TJ Sharp.

The gig is now posted online and reads something like this — “Can you share the spotlight in an ensemble cast? Are you as comfortable with people laughing at you, as you are with them laughing with you? Can you share your life on the air and interact with listeners just like you would with your friends? Do you enjoy being involved in the community and meeting listeners, hosting events and doing live appearances? Are you good at social media engagement? Are you comfortable on camera? Does the phrase ‘Facebook Live’ spark your inner actor and not leave you cowering in a corner? Can you help make the day better for listeners by putting some fun and funny into their day?

If you answered yes to everything — WBEE wants to talk to you! You will be provided with all the tools and resources necessary to succeed at a high level. We offer a great environment with fun, creative and driven people who love this business. Qualified candidates are urged to apply online, like NOW, via the Entercom Careers portal. (Ref#: 31890).
