• Craig Bommer has been promoted to Market President of iHeartMedia’s Wheeling/Parkersburg, WV markets, succeeding Mark Fuhrman, who has left the company. Bommer is a marketing and sales pro who has worked in the Wheeling/Parkersburg market for the past 17 years. He joined iHeartMedia in 2016 as SVP of Sales for the Wheeling/Parkersburg markets. Bommer previously served as VP of Business Operations for the ECHL Wheeling Nailers hockey team.
Bommer reports to Tim McAleer, Region President for iHeartMedia Pittsburgh and West Virginia, who said, “Craig has gone above and beyond and has truly excelled in his role as Sales Manager for the Wheeling/Parkersburg markets. I’m excited for Craig to lead and demonstrate his leadership capabilities as Market President by helping to grow each market’s revenue.” Bommer said, “I’m excited to be leading the iHeartMedia Wheeling/Parkersburg team. • Cox Media Group (CMG) Orlando has promoted JC Campese from General Sales Manager to Director of Sales for WCFB, WWKA, WPYO, WDBO-FM & AM and WMMO and the market’s digital media platform, Local Solutions.
“JC’s unique background in events, sales and digital combined with his creativity and passion for building and maintaining relationships make him the perfect fit for our Director of Sales role,” said Jason Meder, GM of CMG Orlando. “He is well-respected in the industry and is committed to delivering top results for our customers.”
Campese started his career with CMG in 2000 as a Director for Cox Events Group. He was upped to Director of Digital Sales in 2009, and named GSM in 2012. Prior to joining the Cox team, Campese worked for CBS Radio Orlando. “I’m excited for the opportunity to continue working with the best team in broadcasting at CMG Orlando,” said Campese. “It’s truly an honor to be leading the sales organization and I look forward to continued success with this great team.”
