Saffer Tucson Market President

• iHeartMedia Tucson has named Mike Saffer as Market President, effective immediately. Saffer will oversee a cluster that includes Top 40 KRQQ, Hot AC KMIY (My 92.9), Rhythmic KOHT (Hot 98.3), Country KYWD (97.1 The Bull), KXEW (Tejano 1600), and News-Talk duo KNST-AM and KTZR-AM.

Saffer is a Tucson native who previously served as VP of Sales for Clear Channel Outdoor Tucson. He has spent over 15 years in outdoor sales and sales leadership roles. “I’m elated to make the transition into the iHeartMedia family here in Tucson,” said Saffer. “Being raised in Tucson, the talent at these stations has always played a major role in my life. I’m excited to work with those same stations to build upon their legacy and strengthen our relationship with both advertisers and the community.”
