Jagger & Kristi + Sam

• Beloved San Diego morning duo Jagger & Kristi on Local Media San Diego Rhythmic AC XHRM (Magic 92.5) make it official with the big announcement that Samantha “Sam” DeJesus is their new producer. DeJesus has been handling the position on an interim basis since the July departure of Sheryl Love, and now she will take on the role full-time.

DeJesus (pictured) is a San Diego who started as an intern in the promotions department at Local Media San Diego while studying Communications at Miramar College. She quickly worked her way up through the ranks as a board op, doing production and voice-over work, as well as on-air roles on Magic and sister station 91X.

“I cannot fully express the amount gratitude I have to be given such an amazing opportunity,” said DeJesus. “Along with the rest of the city, I grew up listening to Jagger and Kristi, so I feel like I’ve known them all my life. To be working alongside such an iconic radio duo, who are legends to the San Diego community, I’m thrilled to learn and grow with the best in the business.”

Kristi said, “We are so excited to welcome Sam to the show! Her personality lights up a room and she is such a people person. We look forward to sharing lots of laughs and fun with Producer Sam and our listeners!” Jagger added, “We knew from the beginning Sam was a great fit! She is going to be an awesome compliment to the morning show and we couldn’t be happier that she is on board.”
