Wojtusiak Comes Home To iHeart CT

• iHeartMedia Connecticut welcomes Vanessa Wojtusiak back home, this time as Vice President of Marketing for the company’s Hartford and New Haven stations.

Wojtusiak returns to radio from Nexstar-owned ABC affiliate WTNH-TV/New Haven, where she was most recently Director of Audience Development and Executive Digital Producer. The move most notably marks a radio homecoming for Wojtusiak, who previously served as National Director of Social Marketing for iHeartRadio, Online Marketing Manager for Z100/New York and Marketing Assistant for WXKS (Kiss 108)/Boston. Earlier in her career Wojtusiak held marketing positions at the late, legendary WBCN/Boston, Capitol Music Group and Virgin Records. She began her radio journey at iHeartMedia Connecticut and is a graduate of Lasell College.

Wojtusiak reports to Steve Honeycomb, Region President for iHeartMedia Hartford, who commented, “Vanessa started her love for media right here at iHeartMedia Connecticut and we are so pleased that her career has brought her full circle and back home. Her experience and continued spiritedness for our products will be a tremendous asset as she leads our marketing efforts here in Hartford and New Haven.”

Commenting on her radio return, Wojtusiak said, “I’m thrilled to be back home where I started my entire media career 18 years ago. Radio has been my longstanding passion and a medium that still has a meaningful and powerful presence in local communities — holding a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to keep elevating the iconic local brands alongside a very talented team.”
