Caruba’s Watch Set To Island Time

• Pacific Media Group Top 40 KDDB (102.7 Da Bomb)/Honolulu welcomes major market veteran Kimmie Caruba as the new co-host of The Keola Show, joining Keola Lui-Kwan weekdays from 5:30-10am. She succeeds Rella Rivera, who has crossed the hall to co-host the new The Morning HI with Steezy & Rella on KQMQ (HI93).

Caruba most recently did nights on Entercom Country WUSN (US99)/Chicago, preceded by a run in Phoenix doing middays on KALV (Live 101.5) and nights on KMLE. Caruba got her radio start in Chicago as an intern with the Fred+Angi morning show on WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM).

“It’s an absolute dream to be joining Keola to wake up with Honolulu every morning,” says Caruba. “I’m so grateful to the many people that made this opportunity possible, and I can’t wait for all of the laughter and memories to come with listeners of 102.7 Da Bomb.” Kelsey Yogi, Director of Programming, remarked, “Keola and Kimmie make a dynamic team and we’re looking forward to the impact they’ll have on our listeners and our market.”
