• Scripps AC KMXZ (94-9MIXfm)/Tucson has officially begun to RAMP up (get it?) its search for a new afternoon drive host to fill the large shoes of market legend Bobby Rich. Mix enjoys a strong reputation as an advocate for Tucson, so it’s important that the station find someone who is comfortable in that role. In addition, the qualities of authentic, enthusiastic, engaging, collaborative and platform-agnostic are vital. This individual will have significant input on show strategy, content, show segments and execution in partnership with the Program Director. Responsible for entertaining and engaging listening audience via prepared content pertinent to the target demographic to drive ratings of the show. • RAMP has learned of a new non-comm Music Discovery station in the Western U.S. that is in the final preparations for a March launch. This station is now looking for a part-time air talent. Familiarity of current new music is a must. Duties include a daily airshift, some light production duties and lots of social media activity. Knowledge of NexGen automation would be helpful. Prior experience in Alternative, Triple A or college radio is preferred. Decent hourly wage with at least 25 hours weekly.
