Wolff Expands PA Territory
• iHeartMedia has promoted Josh Wolff to Vice President of Programming for the company’s Harrisburg and Lancaster, PA markets. Wolff will retain his existing duties as PD of Top 40 sister WAEB (B104) and Mainstream Rock WZZO/Allentown, PA while now annexing oversight of the eight Harrisburg & Lancaster brands and PD stripes for Top 40 WLAN/Lancaster.
Wolff will report to Dave Hovel, Area SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Pennsylvania, and Nick Mickley, Market President for iHeartMedia Harrisburg, Lancaster and Reading, PA. “With Josh’s strong leadership skills in Allentown, it was a no-brainer to elevate him to oversee iHeartMedia Harrisburg and Lancaster,” said Hovel. “The entire Harrisburg/Lancaster team is excited to have Josh in the role to lead them and grow our iHeart footprint in the markets.” Mickley added, “I couldn’t be more excited to have Josh as part of our team. He has proven himself in prior roles and offers a new exciting perspective to our brands and sales integration strategies.”
Wolff enjoys a lengthy track record with iHeartMedia — he arrived in Allentown in July 2019, transferring from iHeartMedia Phoenix, where he was APD/Marketing Director for AC KESZ (99.9 KEZ) and Adult Hits KYOT (95.5 The Mountain). Before that he was SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Salisbury-Ocean City and he also worked for the company in Springfield, MO as APD for KGBX and KTOZ (Alice 95.5) and Digital PD for iHeartMedia Springfield. Earlier in his career Wolff worked in Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Greenville, SC and Binghamton, NY.
“We are so fortunate at iHeartMedia to have strong leadership who have been wonderful mentors to myself and others,” said Wolff. “I’m honored to pass along the wisdom they’ve shared with me to our incredible teams in Harrisburg and Lancaster.”
