McCollim Named SVPP of iHeart Austin/San Antonio

• iHeartMedia has named company veteran Jason McCollim as its new Senior Vice President of Programming for Austin/San Antonio, effective immediately. In his new regional post serving both markets, McCollim will work closely with the market’s PDs, personalities and sales teams, while overseeing the 15 stations in the Austin/San Antonio region.

McCollim earns the transfer to Austin/San Antonio from a similar SVPP position with iHeartMedia Colorado Springs-Pueblo, CO, where he has worked since 2015. He previously oversaw 21 stations across three states in Fort Collins, CO; Cheyenne, WY and Ogalalla, NE. McCollim began his career in 2001 at iHeartMedia Spokane, rising to PD of Classic Rock KKZX and NewsRadio 590 KQNT-AM.

In his new Texas programming post, McCollim now reports to Matt Martin, President of iHeartMedia Austin/San Antonio, who commented, “It’s terrific to re-connect and work with Jason again.
