AM & PM Changes @ V-103/Atlanta
• Entercom’s WVEE (V-103)/Atlanta, “the ATL’s No. 1 for hip-hop and R&B,” announced major drivetime changes, starting with the departure of longtime station vet Frank Ski from mornings. Current afternoon drive host Big Tigger will move up to morning drive to anchor The Morning Culture with Big Tigger, while Kenny Burns returns to V103 to do afternoons. Both changes are effective August 17.
“During his time with us at V-103, I have seen Big Tigger take over Atlanta as a premier talent and generous community activist who is connected to the people. We believe he will bring his high energy and creativity to mornings at the station,” said Rick Caffey, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Atlanta. “Just as important, we see Kenny Burns bringing his added years of experience, industry work, and current show success to the station and we’re excited to welcome him back.”

He has also hosted multiple BET shows, was previously the voice and co-host of the Soul Train Awards, and from 2003-2013 hosted the syndicated Live in the Den with Big Tigger. “I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to wake up Atlanta every morning with good energy, good music, and a good time,” said Tigger.
