Dan & Stephanie, Reinvented
[Ed. note: Mahoney explains that the “96” handle is a callback to the station where he had worked since 1995 — former Makkay Broadcasting Top 40 WRZE (96-3 The Rose). Stephanie joined him there in 2003, and they moved over to WCOD in 2009.]
Mahoney said, “After our departure back in January, I knew there would be another beginning. Local communications have never been more important than at a time like this. So we decided to utilize our talent, and going the digital route, we are excited to bring back our show to continue to serve our amazing listeners and our community. We will be the same fun show as always. Can’t wait to start this chapter, in this new age of ways to be heard.”
As the press release states, Mix 96 will regularly welcome “locally renowned disc jockeys, national disc jockeys and surprise guests.” Mix 96 is also “positioned to be a production solution for community businesses as well.
