10th iHeart Festival A Virtual Success
• We all knew that the 10th annual iHeartRadio Music Festival would look and feel different this year — and in the end, that was OK. Given the unique challenges of mounting a major concert event in the middle of a pandemic, it’s safe to say that the iHeartMedia crew pulled off a very successful virtual show. Over the course of two days, socially-distant fans were treated to dozens of legendary performances from (pictured, l-r): Miley Cyrus, Usher, Coldplay, Alicia Keys), as well as Bon Jovi, BTS, Kane Brown with special guests Khalid & Swae Lee, Keith Urban, Migos, Thomas Rhett with surprise guest Jon Pardi and more.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and featuring appearances from colleagues Elvis Duran, Bobby Bones, Enrique Santos and The Breakfast Club crew, the iconic weekend-long virtual festival was recorded on stages in Los Angeles and Nashville, streamed on The CW App and CWTV.com, and broadcast on iHeartMedia stations nationwide Sept. 18 & 19. Fans were also given the opportunity to participate in virtual meet and greets and appear in a special Capital One Fan Wall to be serenaded by their favorite artists.
In case you missed any of the performances — or just want to relive the magic — The CW Network will broadcast the two-night iHeartRadio Music Festival on Sunday, September 27 and Monday, September 28 from 8-10pm ET.
