Morad Adds OM Stripes @ WEQX
• Sending our best wishes to Jeff Morad, longtime PD and morning personality on Northshire Communications’ Alternative WEQX/Manchester, VT-Albany, NY, who just received a box of updated business cards bearing his swell new title: Operations Manager.
In making the big announcement, WEQX GM Mimi Brown said, “It is with great pleasure to announce that Mr. Morad has accepted the position of Operations Manager. Jeff is the hardest working human I have ever met, and has been my right hand since he accepted the PD position.” Morad joined EQX in August 2007 and was upped from APD/MD to the PD chair in May 2013. Oh, and in his not-so-spare time Morad also hosts the Jam N’ Toast specialty show.
Commenting on his shiny new OM stripes, Morad said, “To be honest, when Mimi told me she was bestowing the title of OM on me, I humbly accepted and immediately snuck away to google what the heck ‘OM’ meant… haha. I came to find out this would be a smooth transition from my current position as PD to OM/PD because the amazing staff at EQX already operates as a well-oiled machine.
