Daniels New AM Co-Host On WFGR/Grand Rapids

• Last week we told you that Casey Daniels had stepped down as OM of Adams Radio’s Tallahassee group and was returning to the Midwest for an opportunity TBA… Ms. Daniels’ destination has now been revealed — scenic Grand Rapids, MI, where she’s the new morning co-host on Townsquare Classic Hits 98.7 WFGR, plugged in across the console from current morning talent JoJo Girard, forming the all-new Casey & JoJo Show.

Doug Montgomery, Townsquare Director of Product Development, said, “We’re excited for Casey to join the team in GR for this newly created local position on WFGR. She’s gonna need snow tires for her Harley, though.” Townsquare Grand Rapids Market President Jeff Luckoff added, “We are elated to have Casey join us in Grand Rapids. Daniels has spent most of her career in the Midwest — prior to her recent Tallahassee run, she spent many years in South Bend, IN, most notably an 11-year run with Artistic Media Partners, rising to VP of Programming and PD of WNDV (U93), followed by six years as a Producer/Host at Sinclair’s WSBT-TV. Other on-air stops include WZPL/Indianapolis, WZOW & WWLV/South Bend, WHZZ/Lansing, MI and WCSX/Detroit. “I’m super excited to be coming home to Michigan,” Daniels said. “I’m eager to be with such a forward-thinking and innovative group like Townsquare Media.
