Pullman Ready To Drive The Wolf Home

• Cumulus Country KPLX (99.5 The Wolf)/Dallas prepares for the imminent arrival of major market veteran Jason Pullman to take over afternoon drive. He will succeed 13-year KPLX vet (and former PD) Mark Phillips, who is leaving.

Pullman most recently co-hosted the Jason & Katie morning show with Katie Bright at Entercom Country WUSN (US99)/Chicago until late June. He previously spent decade doing mornings on iHeartMedia Country WUBL (94.9 The Bull)/Atlanta. Before that he did afternoons at KYSR/Los Angeles during its Hot AC Star 98.7 era.

KPLX & KSCS PD Mike Preston said of Pullman, “Jason is a terrific air talent with a strong background in Country radio. He served as morning host at WUSN in Chicago and for 10 years at WUBL in Atlanta, as well as PM drive at then Hot AC KYSR/Los Angeles. He cut his teeth right out of college at Detroit’s [WWWW] W4 Country. Jason will be live and local from our studios.” Preston says Pullman will also be lending his mad skillz to other Cumulus markets TBA.
