COVID Claims Skyview’s Andy Luberda
• The RAMP family sends its deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Andy Luberda, the longtime Operations Manager of Skyview Networks and a highly valued member of the Skyview Networks’ family, who passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 29 from complications of COVID-19.
Andy first joined Skyview Networks in 2012 as a board op in the Broadcast Operations department. His love of sports combined with his approachable and warm personality made him a valued leader and friend to his colleagues. He continued to grow within Skyview, taking on additional projects that included managing ABC News Radio overnight broadcasts. In 2015, Andy was promoted to Operations Manager, focused on managing one of the company’s largest clients, TuneIn. In this role, he monitored and managed over 70 collegiate football and basketball live audio streams and 24/7 news and weather content.
In 2016, Andy’s son, Kade Luberda, followed in his father’s footsteps and joined Skyview’s operations team as a board operator. Together they shared a passion for sports and Andy was proud to have the experience working alongside his son.
Aaron Mellis, Andy’s longtime friend and manager, commented, “We were fortunate to have Andy on the team, and as his role grew, it made a positive impact on our company and our clients. Andy’s warm heart and genuine care for his colleagues will continue to be a part of the Skyview Networks culture.” Skyview has set up a GoFundMe page for Andy’s family to help raise funds for medical and memorial costs and to provide financial support for Kade during this difficult time.
