James Upped To OM At Midwest Wausau

• Duke Wright’s Midwest Communications in Wausau, WI announced the promotion of Rusty James to the newly created position of Operations Manager, overseeing the programming of Top 40 WIFC, Country WDEZ and Rock WOZZ.

James returned to Midwest as Brand Manager of WIFC in October 2020, replacing Nikki Montgomery, who joined Dave Kallaway as morning co-host. James previously served as VP of Programming & Operations for Max Media in Norfolk/Virginia Beach, and he notably spent 14 years with Midwest Communications as OM of the company’s four-station group in Evansville, IN.
