Happy 20th, Marc & Kim!

• Talk about perfect timing — Rick Thomas just arrived in Knoxville as SummitMedia’s newly named Top 40 Brand  and Content Leader and PD of Top 40 WWST (Star 102.1). He barely had time to drop his suitcase off in his new office when he was informed that the Marc and Kim morning show was about to celebrate their 20th birthday on Star 102.1!

Swinging right into action, Thomas ran down the hall, introduced himself, whipped out several pens and quickly renewed the top-rated show in a swell new multi-year deal. “It’s pretty cool for me to meet a show with not just success and longevity, but such heart and soul,” Thomas tells RAMP. “They bring their A-game every day and work to win and grow despite their huge level of current success. Cheers to the next 20!”
